A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing 2,5-bis(1',1'-dimethylbutyl)hydroquinone or a precursor thereof and a 3-anilino-5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler represented by the following general formula (II): <IMAGE> (II) wherein IR represents RCONH-, RNHCO-, ROCO-, RNHSO2-, ROSO2NH- <IMAGE> wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 35 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group or an aralkyl group, which groups can be further substituted. The color photographic light-sensitive material can provide color images having excellent fastness and free from discoloration at the non-image areas.
