<p>PURPOSE:To dissolve over heating at the center part and short heating at the circumferential part and unify the temperature in the whole ignited territory by dividing an electric heater into the center part and the circumferential part of a filter, and supplying a quantity of heat relatively small to the center part and relatively large to the circumferential part. CONSTITUTION:A filter 1 is formed into a cylindrical form, and its electric heater is divided into two territories R1, R2. The electric heater for the center part circular territory R1 has relatively a small capacity, and for the circumferential annular territory relatively a large capacity. Temperature difference between the center part R1 and the circumferential part R2 of the filter 1 is shortened, the whole territory of end face of the filter 1 is ideally heated into nearly uniform temperature, and troubles such as over heat and melt on the center part and unburnt and half-burnt of particulate on the circumferential part R2 can be previously prevented. In this way, ignited territory arranged on one end face of the filter can be uniformly heated at ideal temperature.</p> |
