<p>The jigs are made of a refractory ceramic, and each consists of a base frame (I), and two separate end flanges which are mounted on (I) to make a U-shaped jig. Near the ends of the longitudinal members of (I) are internal lugs forming slots entered by tongues on the bottom edges of the flanges. The tongues on the bottom ends of the flanges are pref. chambered on their outer surfaces for easy entry into the slots in (I). A rigid jig is obtd., which is easily assembled or dismantled, and which is made of ceramic to avoid the very high cost of jigs made of heat resisting steels.</p> |
