摘要 <p>Water-soluble glass compsn. comprises 54.5-63 mol.% ZnO, 35.8-45 mol.% P2O5 and remainder Al2O3. Pref. glasses contain up to 3 mol.%, esp. 1.1-2.4 mol.% Al2O3. A specific glass contains 61.1-63 mol.% ZnO, 35.8-37.8 mol.% P2O5 and up to 2 mol.% Al2O3. The glasses are made by fusing the components together, cooling to form a solid mass, and comminuting the prod. The prods. may be made in the form of granular fibres, films, powders, enamels, etc., and esp. as milled powders with a particle size of 10-60 microns. The prods. are esp. useful as anti-corrosion pigments in anti-corrosion coating compsns. e.g. for application to (ferrous) metals. They are non-toxic, in contrast to known lead and chrome pigments, and have better anti-corrosion properties than known zinc phosphate pigments.</p>
