PURPOSE:To make image receptivity excellent and to reduce the running trouble at the time of printing by prescribing the coefficient of friction of the surface of a dyeing resin layer to a predetermined value in relation to the surface of a rear resin layer and that of the dye layer of a dye ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A dyeing resin layer is formed to the surface of a base material sheet composed of a porous stretched film containing a mixture of a polyolefin resin and inorg. pigment as a main component and a rear coating layer is formed to the rear thereof. The coefficient mu1 of friction of the dyeing resin layer and the rear coating layer is prescribed so as to satisfy 0.2<=mu1<=0.6 and the coefficient mu3 of friction of the dyeing resin layer and the surface of the dye layer of a dye ribbon is prescribed so as to satisfy mu3>mu1 and the coefficient mu2 of friction of the mutual dyeing resin layers is prescribed so as to satisfy 0.1<=mu2<=0.3. By this method, a uniform and sharp full-color dye image having high resolving power is received and the running properties at the time of printing are improved.
