Surfboard arrangement (2) for a wind surfing appliance and a bridge unit (11) for it, consisting of two surfboards (12) which are arranged side by side and parallel to one another and are connected to one another in a torsionally rigid manner by a rigid bridge (11) spanning the gap area between the surfboards (12). The width of the double-board arrangement remains within a range which permits problem- free transport on the car roof without the arrangement having to be dismantled, so that the arrangement can be assembled in a fixed, permanent manner by the manufacturer. To fasten the lateral ends of the bridge (11), which has a steel-tube skeleton construction (13) arched slightly upwards, anchor rails are laminated in place below the surface of the surfboards (12). The movable rigging (1) is mounted in the front area of the bridge (11) in the travel direction (arrow 10), while a skeg holder (29), on which mounting means (35) for attaching an outboard motor can also be provided, projects beyond the rear edge of the bridge. A considerably more universal applicability of the surfing appliance as well as simpler utilisation without adversely affecting the surfing properties are obtained. <IMAGE> |
