The present invention relates to a method for use in rolling a dough piece, the dough being intended to be rolled to even thickness over the whole of the dough piece, characterized by the combination of the following features: - two like, evenly thick strips 3,4 of same length and width are placed on a base 1;2 at a certain distance apart; - a dough piece 5 is placed between the two parallel strips 3,4, after which the dough is rolled using a rolling pin 6, which is intended to bear against the strips 3,4 during rolling.
