<p>The rootcrop harvester, e.g. sugar beet lifting machine, has a number of rotating brushes and guide to conveyor. Further brushes (6) are fitted behind the guide (7). The brushes are fitted to a rotary carrier (3,4) and the guide is formed as a bent bar grid. Each lifting member has a carrier consisting of two parallel discs, whilst the brushes are fitted facing each other, away from the discs. An undulating top surface on the brushes, form a variable gap width in between the brushes, thus dealing with e.g. the conical shape of the crops being lifted and cleaned in the same process.</p> |
