METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF TEXTILE PRODUCTS OF ABRASIVE PROPERTIES

This method finds application in the manufacture of textile products with abrasive properties, namely such obtained from synthetic fibre based primary fibrous materials intended for household and automotive finishing purposes. The method involves treating an aerodynamic and isotropic pad with a surface area 50-250 g/m<2>, after strengthening by a chemical method or needle-driving, by applying 5-50 percent, as expressed of the product mass, of dry matter from a dispersion of a self-cross-linking acrylate copolymer and/or a dispersion of acryl ester and vinyl acetate copolymer and/or a dispersion of vinyl chloride ethylene copolymer and/or a dispersion of vinyl acetate, 0-20 percent, as expressed of the dispersion mass, of melamine resin pre-condensate and 0-50 g/l of pigment colorant, the application carried out by means of pulverization, foulardization, printing, splashing or coating. This is followed by drying and condensing at a temperature 100-180 degrees C for 1 to 3 minutes. The products can be colour-designed by means of masking giving two- or three-layer final products.
