PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration and the trouble arising from mechanical external force by providing an oxidation film in advance on the surface of a springy metal body when attaching one end of an electrode to the terminal of a lead wire and the other electrode is contacted to a springy metal body. CONSTITUTION:A diode 1, having an Si substrate 11 on which an Ag electrode 12 is provided, is connected on a header lead 3 with wax 7, and the upper electrode 12 is contacted to the U-type springy metal body 2, which is spotwelded to the terminal of a lead wire 6. A springy metal body 2 which is used in such a case as above is formed by providing an Ni plating 22 on a springy metal material of Mo etc. and by forming an Ni heat oxidation film 23 on the said plated film. As a result, the electrode 12 of an element is contacted to a springy metal body with an intermediate of an oxidation film 23, so the alloy formation of an electrode and an Ni film, when sealing a glass tube 4, is retarded and mechanical adherence is decreased, thereby enabling to eliminate the defects such as Si destruction and exfoliation of an electrode due to the influence by mechanical external force. |
