PURPOSE:To raise liquid leaking resistance and storability of cell by a method in which a laminated power-generating element for cell is inserted into metal current collecting plates combined with a conductive plastic film, and a hot melt type sealant is put in an aperture in its peripheral portion and melted by a supersonic wave. CONSTITUTION:The negative electrode current collecting plate 1 and the positive electrode current collecting plate 2 are formed by adhering the conductive plastic film 3 to the inner surface of a corrosion-resistant metal foil, and then between both the current collecting plates 1 and 2 is interleaved with a power-generating element consisting of the thin layered negative electrode 4 of zinc foil etc., the separator 6, and the positive electrode 5 of manganese dioxide etc. And, the sealant 8 composed of a hot melt type synthetic resin adhesive is inserted into the aperture 9 of the peripheral edge portion, and then subjected to a supersonic vibration under reduced pressure to combine the sealant 8 with the plastic film 3 by melting in order to form an enclosed cell. Even the peripheral edge portion of the separator 6 is preferably impregnated or coated with the hot melt type synthetic resin adhesive 7. |
