PURPOSE: To provide a short and compact reach fork lift truck by inserting a battery having the notches on the front left and right portions and comprising a projection on a front central portion, between the basic portions of an outer mast device from which a lower stay is removed. CONSTITUTION: The notches 9, 10 are formed on the front left and right of a battery 8, and a projecting portion 11 is formed on a front central portion of the same. The projecting portion 11 of the battery 8 is inserted between the basic portions of a mast device 22 from which a lower stay is removed. Accordingly the total length of a truck of this invention is B-α, and the length from a rear end face of the truck body 1 to a front end of the fork of the mast device 12 is A-α, when the length of the projecting portion 11 of the battery 8 is α, the total length of a conventional truck is B, and the length between the rear end face of the truck body to the front end of the fork of the mast device is A. By combining the battery 8 having the projecting portion 11 on the front central portion and the mast device 12 from which the lower stay is removed as mentioned in the above, the compact truck can be provided. |
