Container for gathering fruit - has telescopic lower part resting on calibrated weight springs to increase capacity on inserting fruit

The container is in two parts which extend telescopically. The upper part (15) is open, with a carrying strap (17). The lower part has double-walled sides (5,6) and is also open, the bottom being closed by a flap (7) dropping down for emptying. The sides (14) of the upper part fit into the double walls of the lower part. A box (2) each side contains a spring (22) which co-operates with a headed rod (19,20) fixed to the upper part. These springs are calibrated and the container lower part descends under the weight of the fruit inserted.
