<p>Sanitary towel having a central pad of cellulose pulp, surrounded by a layer of cellulose wadding, contains a disinfectant-impregnated strip. The assembly further contains an impermeable polyethylene strip and is wrapped in a non-woven fabric layer. The disinfectant-impregnated strip is inserted between the central pad and the cellulose wadding, and may be also deodorised and perfumed. The strip may contain the active substances in micro-capsular form, to preserve them during a storage period. The sanitary towel is inserted into a sealed sachet to further conserve the properties.</p> |
