PURPOSE:To retain circuit function partly in a semiconductor device even in a power interruption by providing a semiconductor in the same container and a power supply for self-generating function therein. CONSTITUTION:A transistor, a diode and resistors and the like are formed in a semiconductor element 1, and are also formed in an optical battery (solar batterY) 2. Since the semiconductor element 1 incorporates the optical battery 2, the element 1 may operate with the power generated from the battery 2. Therefore, even if the element 1 has a function for storing certain information or timer circuit such as watch or the like, they can always operate with the electromotive force of the battery 2, and accordingly eliminate the erasure of the information stored and display at different time from the present time. |
