The packaging unit consists of a container (2), which is intended for receiving solid or liquid contents, and of a closure stopper (3) which is provided with sealing means (4, 5) and a flange-like part (7) seated on the filling aperture (1) of the container. The object consists in providing a simple and inexpensive safety closure which can be used in ordinary packaging lines of the pharmaceutical industry. For this purpose, the flange-like part (7) of the closure stopper (3) projecting beyond the edge (6) of the filling aperture (1) of the container (2) has the largest external diameter. This is at most equal to the external diameter of the edge of the filling aperture (1). Starting from the edge (6) of the filling aperture it decreases in the direction of its centre point so that no grippable circumferential surface is produced. Guided in the flange-like part (7) is a slide (11) which can be displaced radially beyond the external diameter of the edge of the filling aperture (1). <IMAGE>
