<p>Plastic container, with a separate lid, for display in conjunction with a plastic panel or coated board, features an integral flange or collar for fixing the container to the board by fusion or adhesives. The container may subsequently be separated from the flange, for use standing alone from the board. The flange may initially be part of either the container body or its lid, as made by either thermoforming or injection moulding. The parting line between container and flange may be weakened, by e.g.; local thinness etc. Esp. suitable for display and sale of small ironmongery or hardware items by self-service methods, using transparent clear or tinted mouldings.</p> |
