<p>PURPOSE:To obtain articles of waterproof sheets and the like excellent in surface smoothness, adhesion to a processing agent, washing durability and texture, feeling by applying a viscous processing agent made of a thermal cross-linking synthetic resin on a fibrous ground cloth and press-fitting to cross-link the cloth to a heating body. CONSTITUTION:A viscous processing agent 2 mainly composed of a synthetic resin or rubber (such as silicone series) having a thermal cross-linking property is applied on a fibrous ground cloth 1 such as span knitted material or the like by means of a doctor 3, and introduced to a heating cylinder 5 through a guide roll 4. The cloth is press-fitted by means of a press-fitting roll 6 at the initial stage of contacting the surface of the processing agent 2. Then, the processing agent is exfoliated by a guide roll 8, and thereafter, if required, a processing agent is applied on the cross-linked surface. Then, the cloth is subjected to heat treatment in a heat treatment furnace 9 to perform cross-linkage up to the inner part of the processing agent 2. EFFECT:The finished film is tenacious, and is excellent in durability for drying treatment and pasteurization treatment by chemicals.</p> |
