PURPOSE:To surely remove unrecovered toners by detaching a cleaning means from a photoreceptor according to need and letting the unrecovered toners remained on the photoreceptor be attracted to a developing means. CONSTITUTION:If it is necessary to remove a photosensitive drum 1 or cleaner 7, a cleaning switch is turned ON, and this causes a solenoid 14 to turn a blade support 13, thereby letting the leading edge of a blade 12 detach from the photosensitive drum 1. The toners which are scraped up from the photosensitive drum 1 by the blade 12 and gather along its leading edge remain straightly on the drum 1. The operations of the drum 1 and developing device 4 are continued and all the operations of the other devices are stopped. The unrecovered toners remaining on the drum 1 are carried by this revolution and where they oppose to a developing device 4, they are attracted. |
