PURPOSE:To decrease coefficient of friction at a frictional part and also to suppress oscillation at said part by a method wherein a contact zone of a release bearing with a diaphragm spring is hardened and the surface of said zone is finished by buffing CONSTITUTION:A friction clutch transfers torque between a crankshaft 1 and an input shaft 6 only when a crutch disc 7 is kept placed between a flyweel 2 and a pressure plate 5 subjected to elastic force of a diaphragm spring 5. For manufacture of said diaphragm spring 4, a finished steel plate which works as a material is punched on press to a given shape, hardened in a die and adjusted for quality of an elasticity retaining part through shot peening. Then, a contact zone 4b with a bearing 9 is hardened, and the surface of said zone 4b is buffed to decrease the coefficient of friction. |
