<p>PURPOSE:To permit the judgement whether any fault in an input-output section, or an arithmetic section is detected or not by containing a program for hardware fault detection in a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Input information from each appliance in a vehicle is sent to an input circuit 1 and an arithmetic section 3 performs predetermined logical judgement by the signal and a signal is obtained from an output circuit 5. An output signal is fed back to the input circuit to compare with the input information. When two signals do not coincide with each other, a fault detection relay (FDR) is off and a relay SAR is on by a fault diagnostic circuit 8 to operate diagnostic relays CHOF1- CHON2. For example, when the relay CHOF1 is off, the faults in the arithmetic section system are indicated, and when the relay CHON1 is off, the faults in an input circuit group are indicated.</p> |
