PURPOSE:Titled resin composition having improved mechanical properties, particularly impact resistance, prepared by adding an oxypropylene/oxyethylene block copolymer to a polyolefin resin having an added inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:There are mixed (a) 20-80ptw.wt. of a polyolefin resin such as a (co)polymer of ethylene or propylene, (b) 80-20pts.wt. of an inorganic filler, such as calcium carbonate, magnesium silicate or glass powder, and (c) 0.5-5pts.wt. of an oxypropylene/oxyethylene block copolymer represented by the formula, wherein 1+m+n=100-300 and (1+n)/m is 0.2-4. |
