<p>A dynamic internal fitting system with a movable foot bed (25) mounted in the interior of a ski boot (1) for controlling foot movement in the boot. The movable foot bed (25) is hinged at its toe to the sole (3) of the boot (1) by a hinge (26). The opposite end of the foot bed (25) is coupled to an adjusting buckle (29) by means of a cable (27). A pair of adjustable strap members (16, 17) are provided for engaging the upper surface of a skier"s foot. Both the position of the foot bed (25) and the straps (26, 27) may be varied for adjusting the fit of the boot. In use, as the cuff is moved toward the toe of the boot, the foot bed (25) is raised, tightening the fit of the boot. When the cuff is moved toward the heel of the boot, the foot bed (25) is lowered in the boot, loosening the fit of the boot. </p> |
