PURPOSE:A sheathed heater is set in a water tank as an auxiliary heat source to shorten the time for thawing and boiling noodle. CONSTITUTION:The water in tank 4 is heated with gas burner 7 as well as sheathed heater 6. At the beginning of thawing, the latent heat of the frozen noodle lowers the temperature of the water and at this time, the auxiliary heater is used to generate a large amount of heat to avoid the temperature drop. Biling cages 3 is made to revolt in circular tank 4 with shaft 1 and sheathed heater 6 is provided in the half part of the tank from the starting point where the frozen noodle is dipped. As another method, the thawing tank and boiling tank may be provided separately and only the thawing tank is equipped with sheathed heaters, or only one tank is used and, when the noodle is thawed, the sheathed heater is employed. |
