PURPOSE:To obtain the clip circuit excellent in the linearity with a simple constitution, by constituting the circuit with the first and the third transistors (TRs) of the same junction type and the second and the fourth TRs with opposite polarity. CONSTITUTION:The collector and base of the first TR1 and the second TR12 of opposite junction type are connected respectively to the emitter and collector of TR1, and the emitter of the third TR2 of the same junction type as TR1 is commonly connected to the emitter of TR1, and the collector and the base of the fourth TR13 of opposite junction as TR2 are respectively connected to the emitter and collector of TR2. The base of TR1, 2 is of the same potential in DC via the resistors 5, 7, and AC signal is given to the base of TR1 via the capacitor 9 from the input terminal 10, and the common emitter of TR1, 2 is connected to the output terminal 11. Thus, the ratio of the output impedance viewed from the emitter of TR1 to that of TR3 can be increased and the result of constitution is simple and excellent linearity can be obtained. |
