摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accomplish smooth starting by selecting an auxiliary engagement characteristic or a basic engagement characteristic according to the engine speed during idling, that is, the creep rotational frequency and controlling starting according to the selected characteristic. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control device 60 reads a creep rotational frequency which is the engine 1 speed during idling when the throttle opening is zero and stores same in RAM. Secondly, at the time of beginning upon starting, a map corresponding to the stored creep rotational frequency is selected, for example, in case of less than 750r.p.m, a basic map is selected, and in case of more than the above value, auxiliary engagement characteristic where the rising gradient of transmission capacity sequentially becomes smaller is selected, that is, in case of 750-1,000r.p.m, an auxiliary map B is selected, in case of 1,000-1,250r.p.m, an auxiliary map C is selected, and in case of 1,250-1,500r.p.m, auxiliary map D is selected. A duty ratio signal corresponding to the map is output to a starting control solenoid valve 45 to control the connection of a starting clutch 20. Thus, smooth starting can be accomplished.</p>
