The cover made from stamped plate for joints in tubular structures is formed from an octagonal plate folded in such a way that part of its opposite sides (12 and 14) form trapezoidal fins, whose larger bases are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cover. The trapezoidal fins (12 and 14) have a hole (16) and an aperture (18) at their ends for the clamping bolt of the joint and extend along the edges of a tile, whose cavity (20) accommodates the pipe and extends along the axis of the octagonal plate and has a stiffening projection (24) on its outer face. The aperture (18) has projections (32) at its ends which prevent the clamping bolt inadvertently working loose.
