PURPOSE:To enable the adjustment of the characteristics of toners by sealing a small amount of the sufficiently agitated developer in the simulated detecting case of a sandglass type and reproducing the actual condition in the adjuster for toner concentration detector which detects concentration from the change in magnetic permeability. CONSTITUTION:The adjuster for toner concentration detector is constituted by a non-conductive upper empty chamber case 1 made of plastics and a lower empty chamber case 2 made of the same material as that for the foregoing case 1, and a detecting coil 15 is removably mounted through the window of the side wall. These are provided by having a sectional area of usually 1-20mm.<2> so that the developer evenly falls little by little in the communicating part of both empty chambers of the upper case 1 and lower case 2. Such constitution necessitates merely a small amount of the known standard developer for concentration setting into the standard case in contrast with conventional devices which have required said developer of the amount equal to the capacity of the developing device, thus the characteristics of the toners may be adjusted readily. |
