PURPOSE:To cut a stock in a definite cutting ratio and improve the cutting efficiency of a sawing machine by a system wherein sawing speed and feed of a stock are controlled in a definite ratio and the cutting power is controlled to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A component of cutting resistance of a band saw blade 23 is taken out by a boad detector 41. When a desired cutting efficiency etax and the above-said component are given to an arithmetic unit 43, a feed Vf is obtained. The Vf being given to the feed control unit 45 and a servomotor 47 being controlled, the feed Vf is controlled. A desired depth of cut hx and the feed Vf being given to an arithmetic unit 57, the sawing speed Vt is obtained. The sawing speed Vt of the saw blade 23 is controlled through the control of a servomotor 61. The driving motor for the saw blade is controlled by the electric power control unit and the cutting efficiency eta is controlled to be constant. |
