PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the temperature of a high-temperature material automatically, by generating a luminance agreement signal by a manual operation for every agreement of luminance and by inverting and sweeping automatically the current flowed to the streak of a lamp on a basis of this signal. CONSTITUTION:This pyrometer causes luminance of streak F of the lamp to agree with luminance of image S' of high-temperature material S focused through object lens O1 and measures the temperature of high-temperature material S on a basis of magnitude of the current flowed to streak F. Current control circuit 2 is started to observe luminance with naked eyes, and luminance agreement signal P is generated from lumiance agreement signal generating circuit 6 manually for agreement, and a signal corresponding to the current flowed to streak F at this time is stored in average value circuit 5, and the current of streak F is so inverted and swept that luminance of streak F may be changed from the side lower than luminance of image S' of material S and the side higher than it alternately. Thus, the average value of obtained voltages can be seen by display means 7 after a proper frequency of repeating. |
