The windscreen wiper blade cleaning device consists of a cleaning edge on the outside of the glass windscreen. The blade passes this edge, with its two grooves in the windscreen surface. These grooves have a rectangular cross section of such dimensions as to form cleaning edges. They are formed in the glass at a slight angle to the longitudinal direction of the blade when the blade is near to the grooves. The grooves remove most forms of dirt likely to adhere to the blade.
