PURPOSE:To prepare powdery coffee free of astringent taste, by mixing powdery coffee with the effective components of medicinal herbs and calcium phosphate. CONSTITUTION:The objective powdery coffee containing medicinal herbs can be prepared by mixing (A) powdery coffee, (B) roasted and powdered barrenwort, (C) roasted and powdered loquat leaf, and (D) calcium phosphate powder. The standard ratios of (A):(B):(C):(D) are 7:1:1:1. The calcium phosphate adsorbs and eliminates the strong astringent taste of the medicinal herbs, and gives the wholesome coffee drinks having the original coffee taste. The medicinal herbs have diuretic effects, and consequently, promote the excretion of caffeine of the coffee, and suppress the hypertensive effect and the excitation caused by caffeine. |
