PURPOSE:To improve the detection precision and reduce the fetching number of detection points, by using plural sets of inductive radio detecting units and by shifting relation of their installation positions to detect the position of a running truck in the course of running. CONSTITUTION:A fixed-frequency sine wave is transmitted from oscillating station 1 mounted on a car, and the antenna position is detected by deciding whether sine waves received by a pair of conductors 3 on the ground are inphase or antiphase. In case that plural inductive radio position detecting units like this are used, the minimum detection unit is expressed by the interval of nodes of strands, for example, in respect to two detecting units 4 and 5. If detecting unit 5 is used with shift of the 1/2 of the minimum detection unit for detecting unit 4, the minimum detection unit of the system becomes 1/2 of the original minimum detection unit. When the number of detecting units is increased and they are used with shift of an equal interval, the detection precision can be improved, and the fetching number of detection points can be reduced. |
