PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform stable A-D conversion of an information signal of horizontal linearity with remarkably-simple constitution and accuracy at a low speed. CONSTITUTION:An information signal of horizontal linearity is written in RAM100 being A/D-converted by follow-up comparative type A/D converter 70 so that steps can sequentially be changed among lines at the same or close positions on a screen. A signal read out from this RAM100 is D/A-converted by D/A converter 73, whose output is supplied to correcting horizontal deflecting method 90 via driving circuit 28. The horizontal linearity is corrected by deflecting method 90 to nearly equalize the scanning speed of electron beams, so that the frequency of an index signal will become nearly constant. |
