PURPOSE:To obtain the corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and colorful hand for the time piece at a low cost by a procedure in which a comparatively soft metal material is molded into the hand and then its surface is sprayed with a hard metal. CONSTITUTION:The hand 1 is formed by an injection or a cold forging method using a comparatively low-melting, soft, and cheap material, e.g., plastics, Al alloys, Zn alloys, etc. Then the surfaces of the hand thus obtained are flame-coated with a hard alloy, e.g., Au alloys, Pt alloys, etc., having excellent corrosion resistance and a golden or whitish color tone in an atomized atmosphere at ordinary temperature in order to form the colorful hard alloy film 2 on its surface. |
