LATCH AND LOCKING MECHANISM OF DOOR FOR CAR

PURPOSE: To securely lock a vehicle door by providing a pivot connection part for connecting with an inner sill button and a dead locking means positioning a crank element selectively during the use of the crank element. CONSTITUTION: A crank element which makes a locking means perform angular motion around a first shaft 24 and is divided into two portions and a second shaft 27 which is apart from the first shaft 24 and is on the crank element are provided. Moreover, a dead locking means positioning the crank element selectively is provided so that the first shaft 24 and the second shaft 27 are substantially on one straight line in the direction of motion of linkage and the crank element cannot be used because the linkage performs angular motion. A pivot connection part connected with an inner sill button is provided while the crank element is used.
