Comprising flat decorative tiles (4) over trapezoidally indulating cladding sheets (2) fixed to purlins (1), the roofing system uses slotted (7) assymetric 'V' section rails (6) to locate tile hanging hooks (5). Clading sheet ribs (3) or peaks run normal to the eaves, and the tile (4) width is double the rib (3) pitch, thus, permitting tile hanging with min. overlaps. The slot holes (7) locate the hooks (5), being sited in the rail (6) apex, and being made at the place of rail fabrication. Details may include a 'U' section (8) with converging legs and which is bolted (11) to a purlin (1) inside a rib (3). Further bolts (9) fix the sheet (2) to the 'U' section (8), being used to effect an external mounting of the rails (6). The hook (5) may have an 'S' shape, being located by the slot hole (7) and locating the overlapping edges of two tiles (4).
|
