<p>Compsn. for dissolving or dispersing in water to give a dietetic yeast-contg. beverage which can be consumed at once or after fermentation, consists of dried, active fruit yeasts added to fruit extracts and sugar. Pref. it is formulated to provide a daily comsuption of several billion active, live yeast cells. Non-alcoholic or only slightly alcoholic apple and grape drinks can be prepd. at any time of the year rather than just at harvest time. The compsns. are storage stable and have a vitamin content corresp. to that of the original fruits.</p> |
