PURPOSE:To avoid the winding of the floppy disk by pressing the magnetic head and the floppy disk to the reference disk by the head pressure spring. CONSTITUTION:Floppy disks 11 are aligned to shaft 8 with a fixed space equred and then turned by spindle motor 17. Magnetic head 9 possessing the slider part on the upper and lower faces of the frame is fixed to carriage 4 via gimbal 6 and head bar 5 to be positioned on the face of disk 11 by step motor 12 engaged via sending screw 3 and spring 2. Pressure spring 7 is provided to head 9 to press both disk 11 and head 9 to reference disk 16. At the same time, a fixed gap is produced between head 9 and disk 11 by the slider part of head 9 and the air viscous current and while disk 11 is turning. Accordingly, disk 11 can be turned with no winding of head 9 caused at the installation position and owing to the pressure of spring 7. |
