PURPOSE:To miniaturize and stabilize a characteristic of an optical system by a method wherein the detection part is consisted of an optical resonator, which is made en bloc with a self-focusing lens for obtaining parallel rays. CONSTITUTION:Between the 1/4 periodic length rod lenses 2, 2' fixed to the optical fiber 1, 1' a multipath reflection resonator 6 having reflecting film 5 on both ends is made en bloc through optical adhesion. The external quantity is detected from the variation of the resonator length according to the external quantity of temperature, pressure and the like, or from the transmitting-or reflecting light variation caused by the refractive index variation inside the resonator. |
