PURPOSE:To enable recording by short wavelength laser beam by forming a recording layer and a reflecting layer both of which are compounded with a predetermined amt. of a phthalocyanine dye represented by a predetermined formula and a predetermined amt. of a polymeric compd. and performing recording by the reflectivity change within a predetermined wavelength region. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 3 and a reflecting layer 4 are formed on a substrate 1 using 5-40 pts.wt. of a phthalocyaine dye represented by formula [wherein Q is an alkylthio group, an alkoxy group, an alkoxyalkyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an alkylamino group, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or a CONHR 4 group (wherein R4 is an alkyl group), j, k, l and m are an integer of 0-4, Q1 may be same or different, M1 is Si, Ge or Sn and X1 is a trimethylsiloxy group or a trimethoxysiloxy group] and 100 pts.wt. of a polymeric compd. obtained by polymerizing methacrylic ester or the like. Recording is performed by a reflectivity change within a wavelength range of 670-690nm due to laser beam. |
