PRODUCTION OF BI-CONTAINING SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To control the amt. of oxygen in a Bi-contg. superconductor by short- time heat treatment even in the case of a larger film thickness of the superconductor and produce a Bi-contg. superconductor having improved superconducting characteristics and not causing thermal decomposition. CONSTITUTION:A Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O type oxide superconductor is heat-treated in the temp. range of 750 to 860 deg.C in an atmosphere under <0.2atm partial pressure of oxygen and it is cooled at <=500 deg.C/hr rate while maintaining the <0.2atm partial pressure of oxygen until cooling down to lower than 200 deg.C.
