PURPOSE:To enhance the observation effect of an observation elevator by furnishing an operation control device which elevates and sinks the elevator car at the rated sad in the specified rated-speed operating division and also elevates and sinks the car at a speed lower than the rated in the low-speed operating division. CONSTITUTION:An operation control device 21 works while the applicable elevating/sinking distance of an elevator car 5 for any specified floor P is divided into the rated-speed operating division T and the low-speed operating division K, and the car 5 is elevated and sunk at the rated speed in the division T and at a speed lower than the rated speed in the division K. For example, higher floors having favorite landscaping ability (for example, 6th floor and over if the building is a 10-storeyed) is specified as the low-speed operating division K. A balance device 13 is connected with the control device 21 to serve for judging which operation should take place only when passenger(s) is in the car 5, and the rated-speed operation should be carried out in the whole elevating/sinking distance when the car 5 is with no passenger. |
