PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet base from being wrinkled due to variations in environmental temperature or humidity, by providing cutting lines in an opaque layer adhered to the back side of a transparent or semitransperent sheet base. CONSTITUTION:A base sheet 4 comprises a sheet base 2 and a releasable coat layer 3, an adhesive layer 6 is provided on the face side of the base sheet 4 over the entire surface area of the sheet base 2, and an opaque layer 5 is adhered thereto. The opaque layer 5 is provided with cutting lines 9 at regular intervals. Since the opaque layer 5 is light-reflective or light-absorptive, the presence or absence, the position or the like of this printing paper can be detected by a reflectionor transmission-type photosensor. Wrinkling does not occur due to differences between the coefficients of expansion of the layers, and the opaque layer is not separated from the sheet even upon cutting off a part provided with a transferred image. |
