Of a half round channel section the roof tile is used in alternately inverted and overlapping columns extending from the ridge to the eaves, incorporating lugs (4-6) which maintain their relationship to e.g. support battens and to one another. Every alternate column forms a channel, its constituent tiles (1) having two pairs (3,4,5,6) of lugs on its convex face. Located at the sides, a primary pair (3,4) are located at the head, having a stepped profile (3a) for housing onto a tile batten. The sec. pair (5,6) locates at the lower third point, serving to contact the top edge (E) of the lower adjacent tile and set the overlap. The cover tiles have a single central lug on the concealed concave face and at the lower third point, again serving to set the overlap with the adjacent lower tile.
|
