<p>The colour process is carried out in five sequences to provide a control strip held to within +-0.05 density or even +-0.01 if required. The first step varies the developing soeed of the film in accordance with the control strip density and uses a sensitogram to obtain 1.30 density. Stages 2 and 3 are used to obtain various co-ordinates and reference values, for use in colour correction. The fourth stage involves a colour correction sequence, with the use of masks where necessary, and the fifth stage uses a screen.</p> |
