<p>The equipment to lay out strips of textile, or other flexible material, has the support for the fabric beam, the fabric feed and cutter arranged as a flow line with the laying table. There is a reciprocating gripper mechanism moving over the table to draw the fabric strips along, by grasping one fabric edge. Between the cutter and the gripper, there is a pressure unit which moves away from the table after it. As only the gripper mechanism moves, the moving mass is reduced so that operating cycles can be accelerated, and the dimensions of the fabric beam can be increased.</p> |
