Spacer for one-way pallets, made as a plastic injection moulding consists of several (three) tubular carrier posts with a joining wall at their ends. Two parallel cross walls at each end have parallel slots, offset from each other by one pitch from one wall in a pair to the other so that nails, driven in e.g. by pneumatic nail guns, are always sure to penetrate one groove and one raised part. Such a spacer can be joined quickly to the bottom straps of the pallet and to the stacking area, without having to use expensive clamps.
