PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a medicine for autonomic ataxia, by isomerizing 24-methylenecycloaltanol and/or its organic acid ester in the presence of a basic catalyst under heating. CONSTITUTION:24-Methylenecycloaltanol and/or its organic acid ester or a substance containing them is isomerized in the presence of a basic catalyst, e.g. potassium tert-butyrate, by heating to give the titled substance. EFFECT:A free carboxyl groop which will inactivate the basic catalyst need not be eliminated. USE:Useful as a drug for peptic ulcer and menopausal disorder, and antistress agent. |
