<p>Two independently mounted conveyors in tandem move panels to a line vertical to the cutting line. Another device inserts dowels on both sides, with groups at 180 deg., while held by blocking devices. Gripping devices on belts are followed by two more conveyors in tandem, and then a two-sided edge-treating group to cut edges of two panels, held by further blocking devices. Further grip devices on belts activate belt-mounted interceptors. The panels pass to sliding and feed devices moving them vertically to an edge-working position, and then further conveyors and slide and feed devices, for delivery to a second edge-working position, to work on the other side. Sensors identify the edges for treatment.</p> |
